Series:
Strasburg: The New Generation Book 1
About the Book:
A new generation of Strasburg is in full bloom. The twins Cinderella and Henson Andrews are nineteen now and home from school for a month. And they’re no less mischievous, to the entire town's dismay.

Cicely has loved Abel Carter for most of her life. But last year, when he put her across his knee for one of her pranks on another Strasburg citizen, she decided she could never face him again.

Abel, now known as the firm and fair judge in Shenandoah County, has never stopped loving her. But he’s determined that she will begin to act like a grown up young lady instead of the impish, naughty child she’s always been.

Cicely is determined to please him and to turn over a new leaf, regardless of what it takes. Unfortunately, trouble seems to follow her, no matter where she goes or what she does. And when she ends up facing him in court, she can’t believe it’s happening.
And Abel is the one person in town who can – and will – see to it that she behaves.

Publisher's Note: This is a delightful story of young lovers, containing sweet romance yet firm disciplining of errant young ladies. If this sort of tale offends, please do not purchase.

About the Author:
Hello! How nice it is to meet you! Writing is not new to me, although being published is.
An assignment by my elegant and sweet fifth grade teacher was what started it all. The assignment? To write a short story and read it aloud to the class.
Enter a story about a group of fifth grade kids camping in the woods who were attacked by a Grizzly; add body parts everywhere and kids being mauled to death one by one, and pile on top one horrified teacher (Poor Mrs. J!). But, the kids thought it was cool, and I was hooked.
Writing continued throughout Junior and Senior High, in the form of space stories, then spy stories, which, by the time I reached graduation, had turned into romances! Every year when spring fever hit, I would take my notebook outside at lunchtime, and soak up the sun, and write. Then I would take it home and type it up on onionskin paper, on an old Underwood typewriter (Yes, I know I'm old!)
One day recently while cleaning, I came upon a tote containing a wad of onionskin paper, rolled up. I was delighted to find a story that I had written when I was about eighteen, and thought, "Hmm, I wonder what would happen if I sat down and re-wrote this?"
My favorite Heroine? One with intelligence, integrity, courage, and firm determination. And needless to say, my favorite hero is an "Alpha male" who loves his woman to distraction, but is stern, and willing to be as determined as necessary, to protect her from danger, even danger from herself.
I have always firmly believed there is nothing quite as sexy, as a man who is willing to take his woman in hand (or over his knee) in order to protect her!

So enjoy, my friends. Yes, there are heroines in these books who fail to make good choices, and are taken to task for it. So if the spanking of adult females is not your favorite dessert, please do not ask for a slice!
